For those in need of a distraction. Stay safe ❤️
PROVOCATEUR
Elio moans - much too loud for the paper-thin walls of their Morningside walk-up - and a running mantra of mine, mine, mine, echoes in Oliver’s head at the uneven gasps and hiccups that flow unchecked from his kiss-swollen lips.
“Sì, that’s it… dammi di più!” he demands, pupils blown wide as Oliver fingers his spit-slick hole. “Another, per favore! Stretch me… fill me…”
Clutching his knees, Elio opens himself further. And Oliver? He’s no stranger to following orders. Accustomed, as he is, to the impudent heathen beneath him. Truth be told, he revels in it. The bold, uninhibited way Elio rambles his inner-thoughts. How he’ll provide a ribald commentary of precisely what he wants Oliver to do, and later, precisely how good it feels whilst he actually does it.
But he’s a force of nature, is Elio - chestnut curls strewn across the messy pillows - and a lightning-bolt thrill of excitement darts up Oliver’s spine as he slips his digits free with an obscenely wet pop. “Ready?”
Elio grunts; a cherry-red flush extending from his hairline right down to his delightfully bare chest. “Yes, yes… put your cock in me… fuck me -”
“Christ, I love you…” Oliver groans, bringing his ruddy glans to Elio's greedy rim: craving the sublime tightness as he carefully nudges within.
Slender legs wrap around his waist.
The kick of impatient heels saps his self-restraint.
“Don’t stop,” Elio keens, reeling him in by the nape.
“Never…” Oliver swears, dropping his brow to Elio’s freckled shoulder as he inches forward, claiming his fever-hot body in one, fluid glide.
Before Elio, he didn’t tend to be vocal in bed: before, that is, the myriad frustrations of a long-distance relationship funneled their filthiest desires into a steady stream of illicit phone calls. Expensive? Absolutely. But needs must when the devil drives, and after thirteen months of little alternative - not to mention the occasionallypornographic letters stowed safely in his bottom drawer - neither of them are particularly shy in holding back.
“Look at you,” Oliver rumbles, far beyond the realms of mere arousal. “Skin like silk: mouth like sin…”
And, yes, alright, it isn't the most concise dirty talk on the planet, but wild horses couldn’t still his poetic tongue whilst buried balls-deep in Elio Perlman’s ridiculously perfect ass. It’s intoxicating - the way they fit together like Plato’s other halves - and circling his hips he licks the salty tang from his boyfriend’s sweaty clavicle; butterfly kisses soothing the residual stubble rash he’d left just earlier that morning.
“Won’t last…”
“Then don’t,”Elio pants succinctly; hands locked at the shallow dip of Oliver’s tailbone. “I want you to come,” he says, taking a pebbled nipple between his teeth. “For me… inside me… make me yours…”
Breathless, his voice grows increasingly disjointed. Hitching and stumbling over each jagged syllable. It’s enough to send him soaring - the subsequent waves of pleasure that massage his jolting length - and with a choked-off cry Oliver’s seeing stars: his entire focus narrowing to this very moment and the wondrous man in his arms; the only things that matter in this brave, new world.
“Say it,” he hears through the blood rushing in his ears. “Say it, my Elio…”
“You’re mine,” Oliver affirms, inveigling a palm between them, but from the sopping state of Elio’s belly it soon becomes apparent he’s already reached his peak.
“Pas nécessaire,” he hums; eyes closed in apparent exhaustion as he melts into the mattress, and brimming with smug satisfaction, Oliver sprawls over him in turn; lapping a stray streak of semen from his slowly bobbing Adam’s apple.
“My beautiful boy,” he murmurs, muscles weak and twitchy. “How could there ever be anyone else but you, huh?”
Of course, the only time Elio’s not barking commands is if they’re basking in the afterglow, so rolling sideways Oliver rearranges their tangled limbs into some semblance of normality, bussing his dewy temple when all he receives is a snuffling snore in response.

Photo 1 by Tom Wargacki; photo 2 by Tim P. Whitby/Getty Images. Happy birthday and very best wishes to Olivia Harrison! Q: “Were you going down fast [in 1974]?” George Harrison: “Well, I wasn’t ready to join Alcoholics Anonymous or anything — I don’t think I was that far gone — but I could put back a bottle of brandy occasionally, plus all the other naughty things that fly around. I just went on a binge, went on the road… all that sort of thing, until it got to the point where I had no voice and almost no body at times. Then I met Olivia and it all worked out fine. There’s a song on the new album, ‘Dark Sweet Lady’: ‘You came and helped me through/When I’d let go/You came from out the blue/Never have known what I’d done without you.’ That sums it up.” - Rolling Stone, April 19, 1979 “[Olivia] is a beautiful person. His son, Dhani, is a beautiful kid, man. [...] Olivia had the hardest job in the world, because she loved George more than all of us, and she really took care of him and cleared the path in front of him, behind him, and inherited that crazy life, you know.” - Tom Petty, Rolling Stone, January 17, 2002 “George and I were together for 27 years… and everything we did was sort of a family project.” - Olivia Harrison, Cultura Pop, October 2017 “The Romanian Angel Appeal’s still going. It had been adopted as a program by the government there, so they’re still helping children.” - Olivia Harrison, Dark Horse Radio, October 2018 “I’ve never considered myself a poet. I’m not. I can’t say I am. I found this form, or it found me, and through it I was able to really tell the most personal feelings and my personal observations of myself as well as George. I found myself on these pages too. As much as I found George, I really found myself on these pages.” - Olivia Harrison (on Came The Lightening), The Bookseller, May 20, 2022 Did you know…? “The Material World Foundation, headed by Olivia Harrison, has collaborated with The Film Foundation, an organization created by Martin Scorsese, in the restoration of invaluable classic Mexican films.” - Film Foundation, October 2022 (x)

Since I'm super deep into the maurauders fandom atm but have also just read aftg here are my opinions on wich aftg chracter has wich patronus 🤌✨:
Neil Josten: Falcon - Falcons have a keen eye and are among the fastest creatures on earth. If your Patronus is a falcon, you may have been a troubled soul who decided to cast away their old, evil habits to fly down the hard, right path. Your nature pulls you to the dark, but you’ve chosen to live for the light - The falcon also represents breaking free from slavery. Now that you are free, you are flying in the light, and no one can stop you, not even Dementors!
Andrew Minyard: Hippogriff - The hippogriff is a proud and dangerous creature. They are half eagle, half horse, the offspring of a horse and griffin. If your Patronus is a hippogriff, you likely have a demeanor that commands respect or else. You’ve been known to fiercely defend those you’re loyal to and lash out at those who don’t earn your respect. At the same time, you are capable of growing to love former enemies - after a bloody battle.
Kevin Day: Heron - The heron is known for its outstanding determination and intelligence. Herons live in three elements: water, earth, and air, revealing that the animal appreciates diversity. You have a mind like no other and work on whatever you’re working on until you’ve finished it.
Nicky Hemmick: Hedgehog - Cute and loveable inside and out, those who possess a hedgehog Patronus may thrive on giving and receiving love and may feel they need more of it than others realize. While upfront about their endearment and affectionate personality, hedgehogs are also known to be anxious and overly cautious. They often worry about their own and others of their kind’s safety. Those around must approach the hedgehog with care and precision, though, because when defensive and hurt, hedgehogs are remembered not for their sweetness, but for their sharp spikes.
Renee Walker: Adder - The common European adder or common European viper is a venomous snake that can be found throughout Europe. Adders are not normally aggressive and tend to only bite when they are threatened in some way.
Dan Wilds: Orca - It’s no mistake that orcas are nicknamed “killer whales.” They are one of the most effective hunters in the ocean. Orcas use teamwork and complex communication skills to hunt and the same cunning to protect their young. With the fierce, calculated protection of an orca on your side, you can rest assured that the Dementors will be no match for you.
Matt Boyd: Black Bear - The formidable form of the black bear is often enough to scare away even the bravest of explorers, not to mention Dementors! Often mistaken as a deadly predator, the black bear mostly feasts on berries, grasses, and roots complemented with fish and carrion. This is often how people see you - a fierce opponent who will protect yourself and those close to you but who has a softer side hidden away from the world. Black bears are known for their adaptability, and this is often seen in how resourceful you can be. No matter the situation you find yourself in, when you come to call upon your Patronus, the black bear will be fully prepared to fight in your corner.
Allison Reynolds: Peacock - Peacocks are ground-dwelling birds known for their beautiful eye-shaped plumage. These birds extend their feathers not only to attract mates but more importantly, to appear more intimidating to predators. With feathers that make up over 60% of their total length, it gets the job done. Peacocks are easily irritated and would make a fierce and gorgeous Patronus.
Aaron Minyard: Lynx - The lynx is a solitary wild cat. They hunt alone, using their great sense of hearing and their stealth to move through the forests without being seen by either their prey or those who may be watching. When they do strike, they are fast enough to even catch snowshoe hares. Dementors won’t know what hit them!

hi! this is the most random ask, but your gifset of footwork is SOOO stunning. i love your brain for making it.
do you happen to know which movie each scene is from? i know there’s a ton but i’m dying to know if some of my guesses were right. no pressure if you don’t feel like answering.
thanks for sharing your talent! 🩷
Thank you so much you're so sweet! So I was actually originally planning to post with a challenge/contest and the first person to identify all the movies would a gifset of their choosing but then when I was posting I got super self conscious about the movies and scenes that made it into the post so I actually didn't want to make people think too hard about it. I felt like I left out some really big obvious ones (like literally some were still sitting in my screencaps folder but I just ran out of time!) and then also included some ridiculous deep cuts or reused movies. I was just working with what I had downloaded until at the last minute and I was really low on computer space so I would screencap a whole bunch, try to use what I could, and then move on. So yeah it's not the best organization in the world.
But I think I know what they all are:
All of these are counter clockwise from the top left
Panel 1: White Chicks, Dirty Dancing, Chicago, The Prom, Coyote Ugly, Xanadu, Valley Girl 2020, And Then We Danced, On The Town
Panel 2: Lilo and Stitch, The Producers 2005, The Color Purple 2023, Troop Zero, RRR
Panel 3: Annie 1982, Stick It, Xanadu, 42nd Street, The Way He Looks, The Breakfast Club, The Nutcracker and the Four Realms
Panel 4: Suspiria 2018, The Blues Brothers (i think), Bedknobs and Broomsticks, The Edge of Seventeen, White Chicks again
Panel 5: Dirty Dancing, Cabaret, They Shoot Horses Don't They, Enola Holmes 2, Ragtime
Panel 6: Coco, Chicago, Bye Bye Birdie, An American Paris, The Breakfast Club again, Stormy Weather, Back to the Future, Gilda Live
Panel 7: The Power of the Dog, Singin' in the Rain, The Polar Express, Dirty Dancing, The Cotton Club
Panel 8: High School Musical 3, Tangled, Mamma Mia 2, Spirited, Hail Caesar
Panel 9: Tinker Bell and the Pirate Fairy, Sweet Charity, Stomp the Yard, Troop Zero again, Big, Annie 1982 again, 42nd Street again (i think),
Panel 10: Black Swan, The Cotton Club again, Mary Poppins 2, Cats 2019, Newsies (i think), Reefer Madness
Panel 11: Leap! again, The Big Lebowski, Spirited again, Hair, Nine, Titanic, High School Musical 2, Mamma Mia, Annie 1982 again, All That Jazz
Panel 12: High School Musical 3, Sing, High School Musical 2, Beauty and the Beast 2017, Shrek 2
Panel 13: Annie 1982 again i think, Descendants 2, High Strung, Billy Elliot, Mary Poppins
Panel 14: Taylor Swift Eras Tour, The Big Lebowski, Leap! again, Mamma Mia 2, Stormy Weather again i think, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Billy Elliot again, Leap again in the same panel i only realized now i should definitely replace it with something else 🤦‍♀️

hello... 5-15 of those asks if you'd like for John (any iteration!) and Nico... hehe
yay 🧡
5. Is there any significance behind their hair color?
not really lol. john's hair is brown because it's the most common hair colour, nico [pascal's object of obsession from 2017 inver] has black hair because i wanted to further visually distinguish him from bowman. both have visible grey streaks because it's an easy way to help define the shape of the hair when drawing it
6. Is there any significance behind their eye color?
yes but only in that they (and all my characters) have brown eyes because i got tired of ppl seemingly on purpose avoiding brown eyes for their interesting characters. so i only make brown-eyed characters on purpose. the only exception is cuinn (harpy) because he has albinism but typical members of his species have dark brown eyes.
7. Is there any significance behind their height?
yes, john is my height on purpose (5'4") and nico is 5'3" because i'd unintentionally made my previous trans man characters pretty tall so i thought well let's make one who is short hashtag representation
8. What (if anything) do you relate to within their character/story?
i relate to john because i'm also a beautiful brunette who sucks so much. nico is unrelatable to me because he's a cop (he's not really but the plot does follow a buddy cop format)
9. Are they based off of you, in some way?
john from long long ago (2011, my first major setting) was a direct self insert thus the similarities in appearance. he has some parts of me in him because he's my main dnd character and it's hard not to project when doing 5 hour improv sessions once a week but he has never been less like me tbh. nico ehhh not really, we don't align personality-wise because i would not tolerate pascal for more than 5 seconds without wanting to hit him with my car
10. If they have an LI, how much of their character is tailored to be compatible to that person?
for john yeah 100%, they were made for each other. the angle i'm going with for their arc is a "perfectly synchronous" relationship being no protection for some bad shit going down between them, showing that if two people are SOO perfectly made for one another, it can often lead to one person taking the other for granted, assuming they can predict how the other person will react in any given situation, and ultimately it all results in a messy breakdown of communication.
for nico i meannnnnnnn he is a horse trainer and pascal is a horse so there is that, but in terms of personality they are intentionally very opposed and clash frequently, get on each other's nerves, fight, and not always smooth over those incidences. they are not very compatible.
11. Did you know what the OC’s sexuality would be at the time of their creation?
yep
12. What have you found to be most difficult about creating art for your OC (any form of art: writing, drawing, edits, etc.)?
I'm going to be real with u I could draw and write John in my sleep. Nico i find difficult to write, I have a hard time finding his voice. The ranger uniform also annoys me.
13. How far past the canon events that take place in their world have you extended their story, if at all?
john as a dnd character has no future whatsoever aside from a planned multiclass, he could fall off a cliff next session and die idk. Nico is one of the few characters i haven't thought much about post-canon, i don't feel like it's relevant.
14. If you had to narrow it down to 2 things that you MUST keep in mind while working with your OC, what would those things be?
john: 1. literally just say the first thing that comes to mind, always. 2. keep em guessing
nico: 1. hes scared of boats and this is surprisingly relevant, i keep forgetting it lol. 2. i try to keep in mind my studies of horse trainers & their work, how they interact with their animals and what subtle body language they might use; these are people who frequently have to convince giant frightened animals that they are in charge here, this translates into how they hold themselves, how they speak, how they approach conflict etc.
15. What is something about your OC can make you laugh?
john's secret fear which we have discussed in dms (iykyk)
nico let himself get tricked into going on a theme park date with pascal while on duty and didn't even realise until afterwards that it was an elaborate setup of fabricated evidence all so that pascal could get him in the tunnel of love

(My favourite films by decade are below the cut)
Tonight, I watched 'Safety Last!'—the slapstick silent comedy from 1923 with the indelible 20-minute clocktower scene—which means that I've now seen at least one film from every year since 1891, shortly after the invention of motion pictures (I've also seen the few recordings that came before that, such as the 12-slide ‘Horse in Motion,’ but there are gaps in the years, and we're talking about film segments that were roughly 2 seconds in length—films didn't even get to 3 minutes in length until 1898; the first hour-long movie was in 1906).
I've got 916 movies on my list (it's probably more than that; my mind has no idea if it's ever seen a sequel).  I posted a while ago about only having 600 movies logged; to fill out the list I went through box office charts to identify what I'd likely seen in the 80s, 90s, 00s, etc. but had forgotten about.
I was missing so many from the 90s, when we had our family movie nights.  On average, from 1989 to 2000, I saw 28 films per release year.  That dropped to 15 once I finished undergrad, and has remained pretty constant.  Going by the box office charts, I don't feel I've missed much of what I've wanted to see; there have been far too many sequels and metaverses, which simply don't interest me.  Over these COVID years, I've been watching more than just the newest releases, catching up on earlier decades; I've seen 173 that were released before I was born (most pre-1970 releases are from COVID onward).
My favourite films by decade (because I like lists):
1890-99: The Astronomer's Dream (1898).  Directed by Georges Méliès; the first film as real artistic production; multiple scenes and stages, special effects, 3 minutes.
1900-09: The Great Train Robbery (1903).  The first epic action movie, at 13 minutes.  Fantastic production value; it's got better cinematography and editing than a lot of current movies.
1910-19: I'm unsure.  ...perhaps The Conquest of the Pole (1912), another by Georges Méliès.  I need to see more films from this decade.
1920-29: Wings (1928) and Metropolis (1927), take your pick.  One, the Oscars' first Best Picture winner and the benchmark for romantic drama (and with Clara Bow!), the other the most impressive film ever made.
1930-39: My Man Godfrey (1936), my favourite Carole Lombard role (she's a fuckin' hoot!).
1940-49: Citizen Kane (1941), Casablanca (1943) are both fine choices, but my choice would be His Girl Friday, because snappy dialogue is like a hit of cocaine.
1950-59: Roman Holiday (1953).  Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck are both so charismatic; the chemistry here is palpable.
1960-69: The Great Escape (1963) is an excellent pick, as is Ingmar Bergman's Persona (1966).  I'd take The Graduate (1967); it felt so unique, not your typical love story, and Anne Bancroft's vulnerable seductiveness turn felt so dangerous.
1970-79: This was such a great decade (Harold and Maude, Chinatown, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Up in Smoke) ...but Apocalypse Now (1979) is my all-time top pick.
1980-89: The Gods Must Be Crazy (1984).  Timeless.  Wholesome.  Simple and effective.
1990-99: I'm trying to pick one film out of the 300 that I've seen from this timeframe, so maybe one [Ed. note: or more] per year?  Edward Scissorhands (1990), Point Break (1991), Wayne's World (1992), Jurassic Park/Schindler's List (1993), The Madness of King George/The Hudsucker Proxy/Quiz Show/Malcolm X (1994), Babe (1995; yes, the pig movie), The Young Poisoner's Handbook (1996), Life is Beautiful (1997; La vita è bella), ...not sure on 1998...maybe Waking Ned Devine/Pleasantville..., Office Space/Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels (1999).
2000-09: Gladiator/Girl, Interrupted/American Psycho (2000), Amélie/Ali (2001), Super Troopers/Secretary (2002), Dogville (2004), No Country for Old Men (2007), There Will Be Blood (2008), Dead Snow (2009).
2010-19: The Artist (2011), Argo (2012), Beasts of No Nation (2015), Rogue One (2016), Coco (2017), The Nightingale/Parasite/Knives Out (2019).
2020-23: One Night in Miami... (2020), Nitram (2021).
If you’ve made it this far, thanks for watching.  🎞️

The LGBTQIA+ films we're looking forward to in 2025
Tumblr media
2025 is shaping up to be a standout year for LGBTQIA+ cinema. From heartfelt dramas, romantic comedies, biopics and a musical, this year’s slate promises some inspiring queer storytelling.
Here’s a look at the LGBTQIA+ films we can’t wait to watch in 2025:
A Nice Indian Boy
Based on Madhuri Shekar’s hit play of the same name, the upcoming romantic comedy stars Karan Soni as the “socially-reserved doctor Naveen, who brings his fiancé Jay” – played by Jonathan Groff – “home to meet his traditional family”. While an Australia release date is yet to be announced, A Nice Indian Boy will be released in cinemas on 4 April 2025 in the US.
M3GAN 2.0
Much to the delight of queer horror fans, the sequel to 2023’s M3GAN is hitting Australian cinemas on 26 June 2025.
Mother Mary
Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel are set to star in this new A24 film. Mother Mary is believed to follow a love story between a pop star (Anne) and her fashion designer (Michaela).
On Swift Horses
Starring Jacob Elordi and Daisy Edgar-Jones, director Daniel Minahan said the film is “a re-imagining of the American dream, except through a queer lens.” An initial release is slated for September 2025.
The History of Sound
The History of Sound follows two young men in the shadow of WWI who are determined to record the lives, voices, and music of their American countrymen. Lionel (Paul Mescal) and David (Josh O’Connor) begin to log the events, whilst falling in love in the process. An official release date is not yet available, but it is believed The History of Sound will have its premiere at Cannes Film Festival in May 2025.
The Housekeeper
Uma Thurman and Bridgerton’s Phoebe Dynevor will be starring in this lesbian drama. The Housekeeper follows Danni (Thurman), a housekeeper at the brooding Mande Hall who falls for the beautiful novelist Daphne Du Maurier (Dynevor).
The Light Fantastic
Set in Blackpool, a gay firefighter dreams of becoming a professional ballroom dancer and battles the rigid traditions of the ballroom world under the guidance of his ultra-traditional instructor. A release date is yet to be announced.
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo
A film based on the bestselling 2017 novel by Taylor Jenkins Reid is coming to Netflix after the streaming giant secured the rights in 2023. While details remain scarce, fans are hoping for a 2025 release.
The Wedding Banquet
Starring Bowen Yang and Lily Gladstone, The Wedding Banquet is a remake of Ang Lee’s 1993 queer romantic comedy.
The official synopsis for the upcoming rom-com reads: “When Min’s (Han Gi-chan) boyfriend Chris (Yang) rejects his spontaneous marriage proposal, he convinces his best friend Angela (Kelly Marie Tran) to marry him instead, paying for her partner Liz’s (Gladstone) IVF treatments in exchange for his green card. Their plans for a subtle city hall elopement are turned upside down when Min’s grandmother makes a surprise trip from Seoul to throw them an extravagant Korean wedding banquet, which will fund the IVF treatments.”
Untitled Christy Martin Biopic
Starring Sydney Sweeney, the currently untitled project will chart the true story of queer athlete Christy Martin as she rises to become America’s most well-known female boxer in the 1990s.
Wicked: For Good
After stealing hearts with the first film this year, the second part of the long-awaited adaptation is set to premiere in November 2025.

Caves & Ice Age Art in the Swabian Jura
Tumblr media
Hey there, adventurers and history buffs! Today, we're taking a journey back in time to one of the most fascinating UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Germany—the Caves and Ice Age Art in the Swabian Jura. This site is a treasure trove of ancient wonders that give us a peek into the lives and minds of our prehistoric ancestors.
In 2017, the Caves and Ice Age Art in the Swabian Jura were designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This prestigious recognition underscores the global importance of these sites as windows into the cognitive and cultural development of early humans.
Nestled in the picturesque Swabian Jura region of southwestern Germany, this site is home to six caves that have revealed some of the oldest known figurative art created by humans. These artworks date back to the Aurignacian period, around 35,000 to 40,000 years ago, offering a rare glimpse into early human creativity.
The caves themselves—Hohle Fels, Vogelherd, Geißenklösterle, Sirgenstein, Kesslerloch, and Hohlenstein-Stadel—are natural wonders. Formed over millions of years, they provided shelter and a canvas for early humans who lived in the harsh Ice Age environment. Walking through these caves feels like stepping into a time machine, with every corner whispering stories of the past.
One of the most iconic discoveries from these caves is the Venus of Hohle Fels, a small ivory figurine depicting a woman. This masterpiece, carved over 35,000 years ago, is the oldest known example of figurative art, showcasing the remarkable skill and imagination of its creator.
Vogelherd Cave is another gem, where archaeologists found exquisite ivory carvings of animals like mammoths, lions, and horses. These figurines, some of the oldest known in the world, reflect the rich fauna of the Ice Age and highlight the deep connection between early humans and the natural world.
Tumblr media
Geißenklösterle Cave holds a special place in history for its discovery of the earliest known musical instruments. Flutes made from bird bones and mammoth ivory, dating back around 40,000 years, were found here, offering evidence of the role music played in prehistoric societies.
Beyond the caves, the Swabian Jura region is a natural paradise. Its rugged landscapes, charming villages, and scenic hiking trails make it a perfect destination for both history enthusiasts and nature lovers. Whether you're exploring the caves or enjoying the stunning views, there's something magical about connecting with the ancient past in such a beautiful setting.
Efforts to preserve and study these sites are ongoing, ensuring that these priceless artifacts and the stories they tell are protected for future generations. The work of archaeologists and conservationists helps us understand our shared heritage and appreciate the ingenuity and creativity of our ancestors.
The Caves and Ice Age Art in the Swabian Jura offer an extraordinary journey into the dawn of human creativity. Each artifact and carving is a testament to the resilience and imagination of early humans, bridging the gap between the past and the present. If you ever find yourself in Germany, don't miss the chance to explore this incredible UNESCO World Heritage Site and walk in the footsteps of our ancient ancestors. 🌿 🦇 🇩🇪

Beauty and Performance ReviewCONTESSE COLETTE DE SAINT-SEINE These days we were reflecting on the influence that women have always had in the field of dog breeding and how crucial this influence has been. Throughout time there have been female figures who, even if they have not been important breeders, have personified the minds of notable breeders. It is fascinating to trace their stories and, when there are, to see their photographs; to note the charisma with which they worked and were able to leave a remarkable legacy over time. The whippet breed has countless female figures. Today we want to begin by recalling one, surely known to most. Madame Colette de Saint Sense, owner of what appears to be the oldest French affix, the Grillemont (taken around 1907 or so) derived from and inspired by the name of her own home, Chateau de Grillemont, purchased in 1850 by her paternal great-grandfather and his family originally from Normandy.Saint Sense, an only child, was born in 1920 as Colette Lecointre, to a couple of hunting enthusiasts and devoted, like their ancestors, to breeding dogs and various animal species. Her mother was Solange de Lancou (born in 1897 and died in 1954) and her father George Lecointre (born in 1888 and died in 1972).Colette, whose parents and grandparents were breeders of horses, goats, chickens, and dogs, grew up immersed in an environment that certainly pushed her in the same direction as her ancestors, her interests, her passions, and life itself, to the point that we connoisseurs of the field remember her as a renowned breeder of greyhounds and whippets, which came much later in her life. The environment surrounding her home was certainly conducive to the art of hunting, and so Colette, of the dogs she bred and their aptitudes, was soon able to appreciate the art of pointing, hunting and retrieving. The first dog that brought her closer to the art of hunting already at the young age of 10 was a Cocker given to her by her parents, partly because in France since 1844 it had been forbidden to hunt hares and rabbits with greyhounds.Among the breeds of greyhounds, the first to enter Colette's life were two greyhounds seen for sale on an ad for about 600 francs, and so in 1930, since such regal and elegant dogs could not be lacking in a chateau, came a female, Erope de l'Irminière (called Eva) born in 1930, and a male Esacos de l'Irminière, who unfortunately died at one year old: the dog, washed to go to the show and left attached in the yard to dry in the sun, caught cold when the sun went down in the yard.Eva's first litter produced Grillemont's first champion, namely Gitane de Grillemont. In 1934, Colette LECOINTRE married her cousin, Count Christian de SAINT-SEINE, and shortly thereafter the first whippet Aladdin entered her life, a breed that amazed her with its energy and suocorage. In the aftermath of World War II, sporting activities began to resume, and although her passion for and involvement with greyhounds (Greyhound and whippet) was not Colette's main activity, certainly the presence of numerous and growing sporting facilities encouraged her participation in competitions as much as her breeding activities. With the whippet she initially probed the show business and then directed her total passion toward sporting lines."I looked where there were faster dogs than in France, in Germany Fullspeed Amazone and in England Andy Thor. They themselves and their offspring fulfilled my aspirations. I judged a little but I enjoyed the races so much more that my dogs, including greyhounds and whippets, won races in fifteen different countries; without them I would never have visited beautiful cities, magnificent places, met so many people of all languages, backgrounds and lifestyles, with one common interest, that of all breeders: CREATING LIFE."She will die on September 18, 2017

No worries that it's been done before. It's always fun to revisit. After awhile, not everyone knows where we started. Here's my little story -
I discovered TOS on my own AFTER seeing 2004. As an everything space nerd, Apollo 13 was one of my favorite movies and I followed Bill Paxton's movies on principle because he is- was- will always be remembered as amazing. Thunderbirds was one of those and I distinctly remember thinking - cool premise, I bet the fanfiction is better.
I discovered pretty quickly this Thunderbirds thing was much bigger than I thought. I read a lot, got my hands on TOS Dvds, wrote a little, and the boys and their story became incredibly comforting and inspiring to me more and more. But I will be completely honest about my experience, I found the Fandom of the time a bit clique-y and elitist, being already so well established by the time I rolled around. It became harder to want to stay involved as any influence of 2004 made it so your work wasn't taken as seriously. Or if it lacked enough TOS Canon. Of course, I was younger and a lot of that could've been my perception. I don't blame anyone for it. I've talked about it before, but I don't think it was a great place for me to have continued trying to grow my writing skills into, or to experience and learn more about the show that inspired us. I would've always been writing to try to please instead of giving myself the grace to play with the content we were given and explore who I was as a writer.
It just was the wrong time for me and I know I would've been disappointed. In the end, I removed most stories and left around when I went off to college. This resulted in a 10 year break from fanfiction and writing when I discovered I didn't actually want to pursue creative writing as a career.
At some point in 2017 I did another sweep of my account and cleared out some more old fics. Those I kept - just 3- got a fresh eyes overhaul.
I missed all of TAG as it was released. I remember watching one or two episodes when the show first premiered but something held it back from dragging me in again. I still just think I didn't need it then. I fully believe timing matters. There's a special beauty in finding something when you need it most.
The love of the boys always lingered in the background and it was almost like coming home. As simple as thinking, I wonder what Virgil's been up to lately...
I started reading fic again on and off and in 2021 (seriously just that recent for me) I started trying my hand at writing again. Little things since I was out of practice. I posted Scenes and got a completely different welcome this time. Even though ff.net engagement was lower than ever, I was shown the magic lived here.
Watched TAG, got off my "what happened to their hair!?" high horse, and figured out that it's totally OK to write influenced by TAG, 2004, TOS, and fanon selectively or all at once. Plus... apparently I write AUs so who even cares about where the accuracy is coming from at that point. Is it the Tracy's? Yes, good, checkmark.
AUs have been surprisingly freeing.
I made some friends both within fandom space and expanding beyond just the fandom. I needed that, probably more than I've shared. But remembering how it was for me, how nervous I was to post after lurking, feeling all to uncertain in my contributions and utter lack of faith in my writing, I have always tried to pay it forward in making people feel welcome. I regret that I haven't always succeeded in it.
So I guess the tl;dr is - came for the love of a family, stayed for the friendships.
FishTank still makes the world go round 😉💚💛
Hi Thunderfam!
Hey, so I know this will have been done MANY times before but for us newbies it would be fun to know how everyone got here!
So… I was a super fan of TOS in the 90s, tried and failed to build a Blue Peter Tracy island, pored through every annual and comic I could get my hands on. Saw small section of 2004 film and could not, so when heard there was another reboot I avoided it because I didn’t trust them not to ruin my childhood love.
Got into Nevermoor late last year, discovered tumblr, overlapped with @womble1 on Nevermoor things and followed a rabbit hole into a womble TAG fanfic which made me think… oh, maybe I should give that newfangled series a little look.
Sat down with 8 year old and said “there’s this thing that’s a remake of something I used to like, let’s see if it’s any good”. We were both hooked the moment Thunderbird 2 appeared out of the clouds - we’ve just finished our second run through all 3 seasons - and I realised there is a LOT of Thunderfam content to catch up on on here too which has kept me pretty busy :) at some point I’m planning to revisit TOS.
How did other people end up here?

@charliesmydarling It’s honestly true, Keith and Shirley are shockingly close in so many ways to being the same person.
1. They’re both trained artists. Keith studied graphic design at Sidcup Art College and Shirley went to the Royal College of Art for sculpture. (The shirt Keith is wearing is his own design and the horse behind Shirley is one of her creations).
Tumblr media
2. Keith and Shirley are big fans of Chuck Berry and the blues.
“Shirley, who loves old school rock ‘n roll, was very excited about seeing Chuck Berry.”-Stanley Booth
“[Chuck Berry] is the granddaddy of us all.”-Keith Richards, 2017
3. As such massive rock fans, they worked very hard to keep their favorite drummer in the Stones.
"The one regret I have of this life is that I was never home enough. But she always says when I come off tour that I am a nightmare and tells me to go back out."-CW, 2012
“Keith always asks what the hell I would do [if I retired].”-CW, 2019
4. They’ve got very, very similar style, which Charlie was always full of praise for.
“The way Keith dresses is amazing. Often I’ll put on one of his belts or something made of tapestry and it looks fuckin’ ridiculous on me. Keith has beautiful style. He has a way of putting on clothes together that I’d never dream of."
"Who is the most stylish woman in the world? Shirley Watts, in her own way.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
5. Neither is the biggest fan of Bill Wyman personally.
“Shirley, staring at Bill as if she were thinking of something else, said, ‘I read something that said all that’s left for the Stones now is to die before they’re thirty, and I thought it was terrible, I was very upset, and then I remembered Bill’s already thirty. So that’s alright.’”-Stanley Booth
“Well, it’s not like Charlie quit.”-KR on Wyman leaving the band, 1991
6. They’re both extremely sassy, and don’t mind embarrassing Charlie every once in a while.
“We [girls] weren’t to go into the studio while the band was recording, but she [Shirley] decided she was going and took me. Mick was furious and ordered us out, but Shirley hissed at me, ‘Don’t move!’ So we sat there with Mick pulling faces at us through the control room glass.”-Chrissie Shrimpton, MJ's Girlfriend 1963-1966
“Later in the evening, just to embarrass Charlie, Keith jabbed a needle full of smack through his jeans and into his bottom. He left the syringe hanging there, walking around the room and laughing.
‘He’s fucking ‘orrible, Charlie murmured.”-Stephen Davis, 1991
Tumblr media Tumblr media
7. They share a big soft spot for animals, especially strays.
Tumblr media
8. Plus, they prefer a quiet country life with family to go along with the animals, and a big library.
“If I’m not working I usually read. I like Colette and Jane Austen or books on sculpture and painting.”-Shirley Watts, 1991
“Keith Richards has extensive personal libraries in both of his Sussex and Connecticut homes. I’m fact, he has so many books that he once considered ‘professional training’ to better manage his vast collection.”-Colleen Collins Books, 2012
Tumblr media
9. Both of them are quite loyal, and always willing to look out for each other.
"She [Shirley] didn’t mind at all that both Mick and Keith gave Charlie a goodnight kiss on the mouth.”-Philip Norman, “Mick Jagger” (2012)
"I remember a guy comes up and bothers Charlie's wife and Keith smashes him over the head with a beer bottle, while holding a baby, as he pushes the guy down the stairs."-Ronnie Schneider
“She [Shirley] has known Mick and Keith for many, many years and she loves both of them.”-CW, 2012
“Charlie hasn’t changed much since I met him first except that he’s a lot happier since he got married.”-KR, 1965
10. And, of course, they both adore Charlie completely.
“I love Charlie even more than when we married. I'm so mad about him. He has an incredible depth of sweetness in his nature.”-Shirley Watts, 1998
“Charlie Watts is my absolute favourite. He has all of the qualities that I like in people. Great sense of humor, a lovely streak of eccentricity, a real talent, very modest.”-KR, 1998

The Pleasure of a Fleeting Year, Pts. 87-95
I am, once again, offering you a month's worth (november!) of micro installments for this ongoing story! This means that I am more or less caught up. This means that there are only 9 prompts left in this year-long saga 😶. Thank you so much for following along, if you have. I've got something special planned for the very last installment 🥺. (Thanks, as literally always, to @softlystarstruck)
87: 100 words for Constellations by The Oh Hellos; lyrics: “...but I hear the rumble // As the tectonic plates start to shake // And I feel my blood pounding like the beat of a drum.” 88: 50 x 2 words for Devilish 89: 50 x 2 words for Smooth by Santana; lyrics: “And if you said this life ain't good enough // I would give my world to lift you up // I could change my life to better suit your mood // Because you're so smooth.” 90: 50 x 2 words for Wings 91: 250 words for This Love by Maroon 5 [nsfw]; lyrics: “My pressure on your hips, I'm sinking my fingertips // Every inch of you // Because I know that's what you want me to do.” 92: 50 words for Prompt [depression] 93: 100 words for Terrarium 94: 50 x 2 words for Crown 95: 250 words for Curtain
Part 87: November 1st, 2017
Draco:  Time Flies… The year is nearly over. I can’t remember who I was when it began. I didn’t like that person. No–I just didn’t recognize him.  All in good time… The last thing I expected was this. Him. Us. That’s not right either. The shape of our life is unexpected, but the fact of it feels predestined. Against the clock… We share a home, a family. I feigned reluctance, but truthfully I dove in head first, drank from Harry’s well of desire like a drowning man. On Borrowed Time… I can’t have this forever. I’ve lost more than this before.
Part 88: November 4th, 2017
Harry: “Don’t push me away.” Draco steps back. “I’m not doing anything, I have work to finish, and—” he tries.  Months ago I would have let him go and fumed silently. I would have taken a potion.  Not anymore.  I take him by the arms and I make him see me.  * Draco: “Harry—”  He’s kissing me. The cold, ruinous doubt that has settled uninvited at the base of my throat is melting, melting… When we break, he doesn’t move away. His forehead rests against mine and his lips, against my lips. Like he’ll never be tired of reminding me that he’s staying.
Part 89: November 8th, 2017
Harry: He’s like the grain of sand that slipped inside my shell to inflame my most tender tissue. I’ve learned to accommodate him, to grow new parts to help him fit comfortably. And, slowly, discomfort has given way to a dazzling cohabitation. He is the most beautiful part of me, now.  * Draco:  The most successful relationship I’ve ever known belonged to my parents. They worked because they’d calculated the risks and the benefits, then came to an agreement.  Our risks will always be astronomical. There’s no reason we should work, but we do; because the love we’ve chosen will always be bigger.
Part 90: November 11th, 2017
Scorpius:  Dear Dad, Today in Magical Creatures, Hagrid introduced us to a HIPPOGRIFF!!! Have you ever seen one? They’re part eagle (like me!!!) and part horse. They’re very intelligent and kind of scary-looking, but Hagrid showed us how to bow to them properly. And guess what…I got to RIDE IT!!! Super cool, right?! Love,  Scorpius * Teddy: Harry, Scorp got to ride a HIPPOGRIFF today—flew right by the common room window! Hagrid says we don’t have time for things like that, it’s all O.W.L.s this and N.E.W.T.s that. Scorp just looked so happy up there. I’m glad for that, at least. -Ted
Part 91: November 15th, 2017
He likes it when I hold him down.  He tells me with his words, but even if he didn’t say it, I would know from the soft, needy noises he makes when I press myself into him; the way everything about him goes easy and pliant. His mouth drops open and he tilts his head back, like he’s offering his most vulnerable parts up to me. The tension in his muscles evaporates as I mark him with my teeth, my hands—he’s good, so obedient in moments like this. He’s so eager to please me—he says it’s for the same reason that he likes to feel the full weight of me on top of him. It makes him feel safe. Like he can give up control entirely, he knows that I’ll take care of him. But I think it’s more than that.  I think the weight of my body forces him to believe that I’m here, that this is real, and that I’m going to be here for as long as he’ll have me. I think in the moments that he fully surrenders he’s letting go of all his fears and doubts.  So I’ll hold him down. I’ll keep him here, underneath me, as firmly and as carefully as I can. I’ll tell him how much I love him as he shakes and cums between us, his pleasure as much from the fullness of me inside of him as it is from the solid reality of me over him.
Part 92: November 18th, 2017
Draco: He seems blindsided by it every time. The darkness. I think he believes he’d vanquished it, like his other foes.  I’ve learned to see it coming, to notice the signs. So, I’ll make him tea and turn on his favorite film, and hold him until the light creeps back in.
Part 93: November 22nd, 2017
“You want that one?” Draco drawls.  The snake, with her butter-yellow scales, is no bigger than Harry’s palm. When Harry looks up, his expression is so childlike that all of Draco’s frustration at having been dragged to the pet store on his lunch break evaporates.  “Look at her,” Harry says.  “Tell me again why we need a snake?” Draco asks, gently.  Harry shrugs. “I just…got used to fussing over something all the time. When the boys were home.”  Draco is suddenly so full of love for this complicated man that he can hardly breathe.  “I’m not feeding her,” he says.
Part 94: November 25th, 2017
Draco:  Harry bursts into laughter the instant he walks into my office. “What?” I growl, more angry at the pile of paperwork in front of me than Harry’s interruption.  I feel Banana—that’s what he’s insisted on calling the infernal serpent—shift in my hair, her tail tickling the tip of my ear.  * Harry:  I don’t think I’ve ever seen something so bloody perfect in my whole life. Banana’s made a little nest out of Draco’s hair—she’s nearly camouflaged in the cornsilk strands.  “So,” I say, when I catch my breath and can stand upright again. “The Prince of Slytherin finally got his crown?”
Part 95: November 29th, 2017
He doesn’t want to be here.  I refuse to expose myself to derision and scorn, certainly not for the likes of the Ministry… he’d snapped while stepping into his perfectly tailored burgundy trousers and tugging on the matching waistcoat.  These moldy old bureaucrats wouldn’t know progress if it bit them in the arse… he’d mumbled while fussing with his hair in the bathroom mirror.  I’m scared… he’d whispered in the dark, in my arms, his face pressed into his pillow. It’s ironic, because he’s the reason I’m here. He’d found the gala invitation in the bin, launched a courtroom-worthy interrogation as to why I refused to go, and then shamed me within an inch of my life until I relented. It’s for a good cause, it doesn’t matter that it’s been decades, do something good with yourself for once, etc. etc.  And then I’d shagged him senseless.  When we arrived, he tried to insist on entering the ballroom separately, made some weak excuse about not drawing attention away from a worthy cause. I just held his hand tighter, pulled him through the doorway and kissed him square on the mouth, ignoring the flash of the reporters’ cameras.  He doesn’t want to be here, I know that, but he’s already managed to sweet-talk more than one old witch into donating. And every time I introduce him as my boyfriend, I hardly register any expressions of shock or confusion, because the tips of his ears go pink and he smiles. Every time.

How about Raymond and "Don't think I won't carry you if I have to! "?
*disappears in a cloud of glitter*
✨ ✨ ✨
Tumblr media
Fandom: Pilgrimage (2017)
Pairings: Raymond de Merville x Fem!Reader
Warnings: Smutty undertones
Summary: You are limping around the dairy barn where you work, and Raymond comes in, like most days, and tries to help you. But because you are still wary of him, you stubbornly try and push his advances away.
Notes/Comments: I hope you don't mind, but I'm going to go back to my Wrong Time, Wrong Place fic, where the main reader character has time travelled and now lives in a French village, and Raymond is kinda obsessed with her. Not sure if you've read that, but I'm going to use the idea of her being a time traveller.
As usual, if you wish to be added or removed from my tag list, please let me know.
The pain was getting too much for you to bare. You had been hobbling around all morning, limping from paddock to paddock, milking the cows, and cleaning out the horses. The wooden stool you sat on when milking was such a welcome rest, but then carrying the buckets of milk was pulling you to one side, causing your left knee to begin buckling under all your weight being on one side.
Tears were threatening to spill down your cheeks come midday, and you rested against one of the paddocks, with your arms propped against the wood. You bowed your head, leaning your forehead on the door and tried to stop yourself breaking into tears.
A pair of eyes watched you for a few seconds before stepping into the dairy barn. He sighed, finding you beautiful, and so much so that he had to consciously control his breath when in your company. The sight of you somehow stirred a weakness, a vulnerability that he was adamant to keep from you.
The rustle of hay alerted you that someone was behind, and you turned awkwardly, only to see Raymond by the door. He had closed the door behind him, making sure that prying eyes could not catch a glimpse of either of you.
"Raymond," you said, brushing your hands down your apron. Sweat was beginning to form on your palms, and you could feel your heart racing that little bit quicker in your chest. He was masculinity personified; dominant, strong. And that was what caused you to feel butterflies flap in your gut. Raymond appealed to your most primal side. That side of you which yearned for a protector and a fighter.
"You are in pain," Raymond said softly, coming closer.
He always seemed to circle you, as if an animal ready to ensnare its prey. There was no mistaking that he wanted you. Despite the fact that all through your years, you had never been able to read a man's intentions towards you, Raymond's you could smell. They were that tangible in the air. Had you been born in the wrong time? Modern life, in the twenty first century brought about uncertainty and miscommunication. Here, in the thirteenth century, nothing was mistaken.
"I've just hurt my ankle," you said, trying to put more weight on it. An excruciating rod of pain stripped through your ankle and foot, making your eyes water. You fell to the dusty floor of the barn with a loud cry.
"You are not fit to be working," Raymond told you. He bent down towards you, his silver blue eyes locked on yours. "Let me take you home." He offered a gloved hand to you.
"No, I need to carry on," you said stubbornly.
"Do not think I won't carry you if I have to!" Raymond snapped.
Raymond leaned closer to you, his breath hot against your cheek.
He noticed you swallow hard, and then he removed his gloves. "Arms around my neck," he instructed, his voice thick of not only his luscious French accent, but want of you.
For a second, he stopped and looked at you. He felt your fingers brush the nape of his neck, and he couldn't help but smile at you. Those eyes; so bright, so full of passion. He wanted to gaze into them every morning that he woke and be reminded that there was good in this world.
You swallowed hard yet again, and suddenly you felt his lips on yours. Aggressive and wanting. His grip tightened on your body and the kiss became hot. Both of you were panting, groaning, and needing more.
Raymond began nuzzling your neck in sheer hunger. He growled, his body alight and ready to rise to a climax with you.
Your hands rose up into his shaved head, curling into the longer hairs. On instinct, your body moved with his, like a flower moving to face the sun.
Raymond felt something else stir in him as he heard you moan his name. And it was there, in that moment, his heart and resolve were sealed. He would do anything for you; move the heavens and earth if you asked. He was now forever enslaved to you.
Parting from the kiss was slow, and you opened your eyes. A smile erupted on your face, and you knew that all fear of this man had now gone. Raymond may have been dangerous, deadly and wiling to take the lives of others for gain, but something in his eyes told you that never would you need to fear him.
In all of the months now that you had been in Rouen, it was only that morning you had seen Raymond smile. You wanted to be the reason he smiled every day.
Neither of you spoke as Raymond stepped out of the barn and into the beautiful summer sun. He took you back to the de Merville estate, without a murmur from you, because you knew exactly what was about to come.

imo? so so SO MUCH better
ok spoilers under the line, on the final boss and totk vs botw
OH. MY FUCKING. GOD THE FINAL BOSS. ARE YOU KIDDING. every stage was so fun and satisfying but the final stage just sent my ass to the MOON with spectacle and cool factor and AAAHH.
so like first stage, standard Ganon, you're like yay he's hot again and it's like ooh hoo you got tricks but it's not that hard
then second stage he goes demon king and it gets TRICKSIERRR like his health bar refills then fills then fills and you're like ohhh HO HO HO and he DOES A COME AT ME FINGER TWITCH AND I'M LIKE SIR /////// AND THE FIGHT ITSELF IS REALLY GOOD the moment he first dodged me was like OKAY then the first moment i realized he was deleting my hearts i was like OKAAAAAAAY XD
but the third stage... the third FUCKING STAGE....i am so enormously glad i didn't get spoiled for this so stop reading if you still have yet to beat it cuz this really did come as an awesome surprise
HE EATS HIS SECRET STONE... AND I GASPED. BCUZ i feel like the flashbacks make it pretty predictable with Zelda but i did NOT see it coming with ganon so it's like unexpected parallels and foreshadowing and he BECOMES A HUGE FUCKING DEMON DRAGON AND TAKES YOU INTO THE SKYYYYYYYYYYYY
and immediately I'm like ZELDA HELP ME?? AND ZELDA HELPED MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE AND THE MUSIC IS A DARK EPIC RENDITION OF THE DRAGON MUSIC AND AND HIS DESIGN IS BEAUTIFUL AND SCARRY AND TIWREAHSADAFJSFKZGZGXGXGJSR
and ofc the aftermath, rescuing Zelda by DIVING THROUGH THE SKY TO CATCH HER AS THE SUN SETS AND THE MUSIC SWELLS
yeah
awesome, hugely satisfying ending to play and watch
in general i think totk handled narrative LEAGUES better than botw. way more invested in the story and characters, and it felt more integrated into the world. like mineru's construct!!!! that shit is so cool and completely changed how i played once she got introduced.
i think overall totk is better. there are a couple things i miss from botw, but they're not features, they're vibes and details tied into botw when it first released and how big of a deal it was as a game. like i miss the feeling of awe and discovery in the overworld, specifically seeing a dragon in the distance for the first time, or feeling like it's just you and your favorite horse alone in the world, and just the general sense of "you literally can go anywhere" that was so novel in 2017. i do think these feelings of awe exist in totk via the depths (the BWAAA every time you enter a chasm? amazing) but the feeling is different, it's foreboding. and most of the discovery comes from developing/twisting the familiar, which is a whole other breed of cool.
hmm i think that a lot of my love for botw can be boiled down to a feeling of emptiness. this huge natural world to be explored. but totk is the opposite, it's PACKED, there's so much to see and 3 different maps and there's all this lore and more armor sets that you have time to find and this isn't even getting into the physics and building and engineering which is a post unto itself and i cannot BELIEVE it works as well as it does, like how the fuck did they make this??
but yeah the story is, for me, what ultimately gives totk the edge over botw. i was so invested, it was over the top cool, it was emotional, it was gorgeous, i loved it. the master sword sequence? come onnn
i beat totk finally and i really don't know what to do with myself might just go to sleep

⎡MINSEOK⎦➻ Believe it or not. Xiumin will let out small, exasperated squeals (!) when you’re undressing him already. He’s damn sensitive, all of your caressing will cause a trembling response. Kiss him head to toe, Baozi will moan like last night when you were using a vibrator on him all over again. Even better, he gyrates his hips the way he groans in perfect sync. No filter, no restriction on his voice. Damn, he’s so sensual.

⎡KYUNGSOO⎦➻ Paradise. Where he once asked tell me what is love, he now has the answer. Both kinky and vanilla sex with you is going to indulge D.O. beyond what he thought was possible. What’s even more delicious? Such a serious guy melts into a puddle in your hands. He has so much feeling and that good ole rnb in his voice, we all know it. Prepare for a serenade of moans and beware the prostate orgasm, he goes an octave higher.

⎡CHANYEOL⎦➻ Wants to be corrupted, during puppy play at best. He’s loud as hell when you slap him. And kinda raspy and deep, mind you. Most groans sound like an excited ‘woah!’, and you might get a whole bunch of smiley grunts and curses when he’s cumming. Yeol reacts the most when he’s bound to your bed (or else he knocks shit over), arms and legs tied to each corner. He sounds mega desperate when you ride him like that.
Tumblr media
⎡BAEKHYUN⎦➻ Gives it all he got indeed. Babe does it just for moaning’s sake and earning hickeys. Screams his rowdy soul out, any sound variation possible. The lung capacity of all other members combined. All choked up during rough sex. King of noisiness, his reputation is true. Even if you reduce him to a whiny, babbling mess, he still talks and cries your ear off. Prone to beg “more, more, please more, ah!” literally all the time.
Tumblr media
⎡YIXING⎦➻ There’s a reason why it’s called ‘sub’-vocalist. He can get quite into it. Sounds amazingly melodic throughout. It might be the most perverted thing you’re inflicting on him, Lay is still going to sound high-pitched, elegant even. He’ll talk along the way, let his serpentine body speak. You always get feedback. Yixing said I’ll give the dommes everything they want. Cums beautifully with a back arch, Lay is quite a dark horse huh.
Tumblr media
⎡JONGIN⎦➻ Fifty-fifty, surprisingly. If Kai is getting all noisy, it really has to be something super masochistic going on. Really intense pain, wax play, canes, hair pulling and back scratches all the way. He’s breathy and smooth, normally, only moaning when he’s starfishing completely. Because Kai is very focused and physical, so he almost forgets to let it out (until aftercare) so you have to give him orders. To which he obliges, Kai is utterly obedient.
Tumblr media
⎡SEHUN⎦➻ Another ‘enjoying in silence’ candidate, Sehun puts the sub in subdued. If he turns up the volume, it’s going to be little ‘ah’ and ‘yes’ noises that are sort of mumbled under his breath while you peg him. Sehun is not a vocal powerhouse when you go sadist on him either, he grits his teeth rather than screaming. You gotta whip out the nipple clamps and spank him raw to make the darling breathe even remotely hard.
